DeskTube has come a long way. It’s all thanks to all the feedback we get, so we are re-opening the Beta Program for those that want to help us improve DeskTube directly. There are a lot of things that we want to do, one being drastically lower the amount of CPU usage DeskTube consumes. This is a challenging task since DeskTube is no simple Twitter client, but rather a robust video displaying application, along with all the extras, like Twitter and Facebook . Streaming video to your computer is no simple task, and it’s a resource killer when streaming HD videos. However, we are confident that we have an excellent grip on a ‘fix’ and want to make sure everything is running smoothly for everyone.
