Video Chat Is In The Pipline

Categorized Under: Beta Program, DeskTube, News

Yes, the title does say video chat. We’ve been working tirelessly on this feature that will allow you to video chat with up to three (3) friends. You will see your video output, and the video of any friends you may be connected to, as well as publish your audio and hear your friends audio. We’re getting really close to seeding out the first beta that includes this module, and hope to release within the next few weeks.

We’re also cleaning up the navigation to expose the video recording module, making it easily accessible. Not only that, it will allow room for expansion for new modules in the future as well as make it easier to navigate all of DeskTube’s features.

Keep checking back for updates, and if you’d like to help test the new features that find their way into DeskTube, visit our Beta Program sign up page.

Haven’t used it yet but 4-way video chat enabled – that’s what I’m looking for. The experts’ opinions that I’ve read say it’s the best new app. Way to go, guys. Looks great. I have downloaded it and my cpu usage was 100% with it open but maybe after I’ve rebooted it will be a little better. I have Windows XP and 1.5 gigs of RAM now but only 80 gigs storage and a 20 gig on which the O/S is installed. Hoping it’s going to run good for me. Thanks…
